Cedar Park
Cedar Park is located in the heart of the small town of Heartland, Texas. It's been around for along as Heartland has, nearly 90 years ago.
Large, ancient Cedar trees shade the park. One stands out above the rest. It's the tallest and broadest, Old Cedar. At the top is a perch, perfect for sitting and gazing down at the people below. Not many people know about this perch though...
In the center of the park is a mighty fountain, many coins litter the boton of it, from the wishes pass-er-byers make.
Gentle, slopping hills suround the edge of park. Many children love to roll down. Kids also slide down them on a large piece of cardboard; this game is called 'Cardboard Surfing'.
As well as the hills, aparments enclose the square park. These aparments are old, but have had plenty of improvements. They are four stories high, each apartment with 2 floors.
You can enjoy a horse-drawn carriage ride around the paths of the park. Buttercup, a palomine mare; Midnight, a black horse; and Glory, a bay colored horse will be more then happy to drive you around the park. The three horses relax in a shady pasture.
